Important Reminders for all types of Candles:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, or within reach of children or pets.

  • Snuff out flames with a candle snuffer.  "Snuffing" out candles prevents wax from spraying and the wick will stay centered.

  • Always burn candles in the proper receptacles.  They burn better, cleaner and neater.

  • Keep burning candles away from drafts and cooling units.

  • To avoid fading, keep candles out of direct sunlight.

  • Store candles in a cool, dark and dry place.

  • Refrigerating candles make them burn more slowly (wrap them carefully in aluminum foil or plastic wrap to prevent them from cracking). Do not freeze candles.

Tealights:

  • Tealights are sold by the dozen in both aluminum and transparent cups.

  • They come in a variety of colors and fragrances, including unscented.

  • Approximate burn time is 4 to 5 hours.

Votives:

  • Votives are sold by the dozen with the option of choosing 2 different scents within that dozen.

  • Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch.

  • While burning votives, be sure the wick is centered. Wicks too close to the side of a votive holder may crack a glass holder.

  • Remove the metal clip from a previous votive before placing a new one in the holder.

  • Approximate burn time is 8 to 10 hours.

Floaters:

  • Floater candles come scented and in packs of 8. Our mini-floaters come in packs of 6.

  • Approximate burn time is 3 to 5 hours.

Pillars:

  • Pillars are sold individually, and are available in different sizes (2"x6", 3"x5", 3"x7", 3"x9" and 4"x9").  They come in a variety of colors and fragrances, including unscented.

  • Always keep wicks centered and trimmed to 1/4 inch.

  • For the first time lighting, burn a pillar only 5 to 10 minutes.  For the next 4 to 5 lightings, gradually increase the burn time until the belltop is gone.

  • Once the candle has a flat surface, burn it about 1 hour for every inch of width (ie for a 3"x7" pillar candle, burn it each time for a minimum of 3 hours).

  • Pillars should always have a flat surface and not a "deep well".  Gently "hug" the soft wax around the well to maintain a flat surface.

  • Approximate burn time:

    • 2" x 6" Pillar ~ 60 hours

    • 3" x 5" Pillar ~ 70 hours

    • 3" x 7" Pillar ~ 100 hours

    • 3" x 9" Pillar ~ 125 hours

3-Wicks:

  • 3-Wick candles come in a variety of colors and fragrances.  They weigh about 8 pounds and measure 6" x 8".

  • NEVER trim the wicks. Keep the wicks pointed toward the center.

  • Burn your 3-Wick at least 5 to 6 hours at each lighting.

  • Gently "hug" the soft wax around the well to maintain it's flat surface.

  • Approximate burn time is 400 hours.

Dinner Candles:

  • Dinner candles are sold in packages of 6 and are available in 6", 8", 10" and 14" heights.

  • They come in a variety of colors and styles to match your decor.

  • Always burn unscented candles when dining so they do not interfere with the aroma of your food.

  • Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch.

  • If dripping occurs, wait for wax to harden and gently remove excess.

  • To keep your dinner candles looking beautiful, rub them with a fine mesh stocking.

  • Approximate burn time is 45 minutes for every inch.

Ball Candles:

  • Ball candles are made of solid white unscented core and highly fragrant overdip and are sold in pairs.

  • Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch.

  • Our ball candles extinguish themselves when they reach 1/2" from the bottom.

  • Approximate burn time is 25 hours.
